The ALC Computer Lab Reservation Procedure outlines the terms and conditions for using the smart classroom (24 PCs) and the main computer lab (18 macs and 68 PCs) as a teaching or meeting space. Please see the guidelines below for reserving a lab.

1. The computer labs can only be reserved for the actual instruction time for a given class or the actual time needed for a training or registration event. They may not be reserved for the completion of homework or as an open lab.
2. The use of the computer labs is available to City Tech faculty and staff.
3. The ALC cannot reserve the computer labs to outside organizations.
4. Reservation requests must be made by completing the reservation form.
5. Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. The requests should be made no later than 48 hours before a session. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
6. The ALC will send you a response about your request within 24 hours.
7. A representative of the group or department or a faculty member should be present during the session. If someone does not appear after 15 minutes of the scheduled session, the reservation will be considered cancelled.
8. All computer lab policies and procedures must be abided by during sessions. More specifically, there will be no eating and drinking in the lab. Upon leaving for the day, please turn off the fans, lights, printers (if appropriate), push in the chairs, and lock the front door.
