Accelerate, Complete, Engage (ACE)
ACE at CityTech is a comprehensive program designed to help students complete their academic journey to the bachelor's degree on time. Modeled on our Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP), ACE provides a range of financial, academic, and personal support, including intensive academic advisement and career development, as well as tuition, textbook, and transportation assistance. ASAP
ASAP is designed to help students earn their Associate degree as quickly as possible, with a goal of graduating at least 50% of students within three years or less. View Website
BMI
Black Male Initiative (BMI) is a CUNY-wide program to increase enrollment and success of underrepresented students, particularly African-American male students. View Website
Bridging the Gaps(BTG)/ Science, Technology, Entry Program (STEP)
BTG/STEP is a NYSED grant funded program that aims to increase underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students in STE(A)M and licensed profession. We serve 7th to 12th grade and offer standardized test prep workshops such as Common Core Prep (ELA/ reading and writing, Math/ Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry), SAT Prep, and Robotics (STEAM). All workshops are conducted on Saturdays at New York City College of Technology. View Website
College Now
College Now is a comprehensive collaborative program of the City University of New York (CUNY) and the New York City Department of Education (DOE) designed to improve the academic achievement of NYC Public High School students, while preparing them for the demands of college. View Website
Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP)
CSTEP is a student success program designed to provide transfer students from underrepresented populations and economically disadvantaged backgrounds with the support needed to succeed in college. View Website
CREAR Futuros (Creating Futures)
CREAR Futuros (Creating Futures) is a peer–mentoring program designed to bring increased attention and resources, and improve educational achievement and economic opportunity, for Latin students and others in New York City attending their first year of college in CUNY Schools. View Website
CUNY EDGE
CUNY EDGE (Educate, Develop, Graduate and Empower) formerly known as the COPE program, is funded and operated in partnership between the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the City University of New York (CUNY) to provide matriculated CUNY students with the supports they need to succeed in college, secure sustainable employment, and to become civically engaged members of society. Honors Scholars Program
The Honors Scholars Program requires a minimum GPA of 3.4 and completion of 12 or more credits. As an active member of the Honors Scholars Program, you will be eligible to take part in a wide variety of opportunities, including independent work on an honors project in regular courses, honors distinction noted on your transcript, academic support, and graduate school prep. MathStart
MathStart is a highly successful zero-cost alternative to traditional remedial math classes that has been found to help nearly 100% of students, even those with two levels of remedial math need, become fully college ready in only eight weeks. View Website
NSF HSI IUSE
The objective of City Tech's NSF HSI IUSE program is to improve transfer success and accelerate baccalaureate degree completion of associate degree graduates through implementation and evaluation of two strategies. View Website

S-STEM
National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) grant provides scholarships to high achieving financially needy students. View Website

Undergraduate Research
The goal of City Tech's undergraduate research program is to ensure that all students have access to undergraduate research opportunities.
