Peer Mentoring

Peer Mentors at First Year Programs are dedicated upper-level student leaders who are eager to share their college expertise and knowledge with new students acclimating to college life.
As student role models, Peer Mentors are available to answer questions and offer individualized support in the transition to college.
Peer Mentors provide personalized emails about important college activities, special workshops and events facilitated by First Year Programs, and upcoming deadlines. They also give assistance in setting up City Tech online systems such as student email, CUNYFirst, Brightspace, Microsoft Suite, and One Drive.
Overall, Peer Mentors want to help first year students succeed!
