CUNY Student Forms Document Submission Platforms
CUNY Student Forms:
You can now VERIFY YOUR FAFSA documents electronically!
View the Campus Logic Student Forms.
Each year when you apply for financial aid, you have a chance of being selected for a process called verification. This process is required by the U.S. Department of Education in an effort to ensure the accuracy of financial aid applications. Students that have been selected to Verify their FAFSA may need to file specific forms and upload necessary documents to complete the verification process and receive a financial aid award letter.
Student Forms is our new student portal that allows students (and parents) to electronically sign and upload documents! The platform allow students to easily complete their forms and upload their documents online from their phone, tablet, or computer! This means that you can submit your financial aid documents securely without having to come into the Financial Aid Office.

How to Verify My
FAFSA
Filenet Document Submission:
Under extenuating circumstances, we will allow students to submit certain documentation through File net. Some examples include: unable to provide parent signature on FAFSA form, direct loan status change request forms, and parent PLUS loan forms. Please speak to a financial aid counselor if you are unable to upload your documentation through Student Forms.
For more information on how to upload forms through Filenet please visit here.
SAP Appeals:
Federal regulations require all students to meet specific academic criteria prior to receiving Federal Student Aid (Pell Grant, SEOG, Work Study, Direct Student Loans etc.). Collectively, these criteria are referred to as Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and reviewed annually by the college.
Students who fail to meet any of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards have the right to appeal.
In order to be considered for financial aid eligibility, a student must file a SAP Appeal form and upload supporting documents, using our Student Forms portal, by the given deadline.
Document Review and Processing Time:
The review of documentation and processing may take 6-8 weeks. Once you submit your documentation, please allow at least 4 weeks for your documentation to be marked "Received" in CUNYFirst and then allow another 2-3 weeks for processing.
Processing of Documentation for the 2024-2025 Award Year:
We have now started processing documentation for the 2024-2025 award year. Please check your To Do list in CunyFirst and submit the necessary documentation.
Beginning Summer 2024 all courses will be taught on Brightspace.
