Course Listings are provided as a guide to our various course offerings. However, they are not equivalent to the actual syllabi you will receive from your instructor. Some of the information on these pages is old and no longer applies. For example, attendance may NOT be used as a grading criteria. If students have not participated in class, if properly documented, then that non-participation may be used. However, to be used, the grading criteria for participation must be clearly spelled out in the syllabus AND records of non-participation must be kept. Instructors should note that attendance, per se, may not be used as a grading criteria and must adopt their syllabi accordingly.
