Important Financial Aid Reminder

The time to file your award year 2022-2023 financial aid applications is approaching. Please file starting October 1, 2021. Do not delay.

The 2022-2023 FAFSA and TAP applications (summer 2022, fall 2022, and spring 2023) will be available starting October 1, 2021. There are three applications:

First, complete the 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at: www.fafsa.gov

Second, complete the 2022-2023 New York State Tuition Assistance Program Application (TAP) through the link available on the FAFSA Confirmation Page or at www.hesc.ny.gov

Third, complete the CUNY Supplement Form if you are interested in applying for Aid for Part-time Study (APTS). The CUNY Supplement Form will be available on CUNYfirst (Student Service Center) by March 2022. See website for filing instructions.

Use the IRS Data Retrieval option when you complete your FAFSA to transfer your 2020 income tax information to your FAFSA.

Tax year 2020 (January 1st to December 31st) income information is required, so you do not have to wait for tax year 2021 information.

Request for information (including verification)
Financial aid status
