Arch Notification Letter from the department to inform you whether or not you have been officially accepted into the program.

Students who the Committee does not select, and students who do not submit their supplemental materials by the deadline, will be placed in Bachelor of Technology degree program.

Application Evaluation Process

The following steps are taken in the evaluation of each first-year application for the B. Arch program:

  1. Evaluation of General Academic Requirements
The CUNY application is received by the New York City College of Technology (NYCCT) Admissions Office and is reviewed to confirm all general academic requirements are met. Arch program but is required to submit a supplemental application to the department for final determination. Students who fail to submit the supplemental application are automatically placed in the B. Tech program.
  2. Supplemental Application Review
Supplemental applications are carefully and thoroughly reviewed by the B. Arch Admissions Committee. This is a committee within the Department of Architectural Technology that is composed of all full-time faculty members and some adjunct faculty members. Each application goes through a blind review by a minimum of 6 committee members and is evaluated using a rubric.
  3. Admissions Determination
Students are ranked based on their total scores from STEP 02 and are granted admission based on the number of seats available.

Important Dates
