PSC-CUNY Research Award Program Round 58

No later than November 9, 2026: Applicants must submit a City Tech Notice of Intent (NOI) PSC-CUNY 58 If NOI is not submitted, the application will not be processed and approved by City Tech OSP.

No later than December 1, 2026: The PSC-CUNY Research Award application must be submitted in the PSC-CUNY Grant Proposal System and grant proposal record certified in Cayuse.

After submitting NOI, OSP will create a proposal record in Cayuse. City Tech faculty do not create records in Cayuse. Applicants will receive an email from OSP to certify their proposal record in Cayuse. After certification, the proposal record will be routed for the approval of the chairperson and the dean. There is no City Tech internal proposal approval form for PSC-CUNY 58 applications approvals will be handled via Cayuse . City Tech OSP will review applications in the Grant Proposal System and if no changes are needed, OSP will approve the application after December 15. If changes are requested, OSP will release application back to applicant and applicant must re-submit application before 5pm on December 15th. The PSC-CUNY Grant Proposal System will close to PIs at 5pm on December 15th.

Reminders

Assistant and Associate Professors may not apply to both the PSC-CUNY Research Award Program and PTRT Program.

The program had significant changes last year. You may apply to one of two tracks.

  • Track 1 - awards up to $7,000
  • Track 2 - awards from $7,001 to $15,000

A final project report for the previous project is required.
PIs who previously received a Research Award in the three-year period preceding their new application must include a copy of the Final Project Report from their immediate prior completed Research Award as part of their application for review consideration. Awards in a six-month extension period are considered completed for this requirement. Submissions that do not adhere to this requirement will not be considered.
