Information for Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff members are sometimes the first to recognize the need for a student to receive counseling services. Unfortunately, not all students are willing to acknowledge this need or follow up with us. Counseling should only be seen as a support. It is best to encourage students to independently seek our services. The best referral comes to us after a caring instructor or staff person has personally discussed their concerns with the student, listened to the student's response, and then recognized the student's need for services. They can support the student to independently contact our office.

Please note: Our counseling sessions are 100% confidential to our students. We only share information about our work with a student if there is a risk of personal safety, or the student agrees to share information.

For direct consultation with a counselor, please walk the student to our office during our office hours:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday	9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Wednesday	9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Friday	9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (till 5:00 PM remotely)
