Gen Ed Assessment in Spring 2026

Four Gen Ed competencies went through data collection in Fall 2025: Oral Communication, Quantitative Literacy, Reading, and Writing (Gen Ed assessment timeline). In terms of the Gen Ed assessment cycle, the next step is AEI, or analysis of data, evaluation of report, and drafting of improvement plan. However, we would like to continue to provide an opportunity for departments to submit data from Fall 2025 and work towards completing this cycle.

Please complete the following activities:

1. Check Fall 2025 Gen Ed assessment documents submission status here.
• Contact AIRE office for missing or late submissions.
2. Review the assessment results and draft an improvement plan or next-step planning.

3. Submit the Gen Ed Assessment AEI Feedback by Friday May 8th, 2026
