Our Children's Center is a CUNY based early childhood education program that provides a rich educational experience for children of students while attending classes, internship or participating in a federal work-study program.
We encourage children to be creative, explorative and problem solvers. The curriculum includes block building, finger-painting, easel painting, cooking, theater arts, computer play, music, movement and dance. Our Children's Center has a warm atmosphere in which parents are an integral part.

In addition to providing extra financial assistance, SEEK offers a wide range of counseling and academic support services, including career and academic planning, personal counseling, a state- of-the-art computer lab, tutoring in many subject areas and academic coaching.

The Center for Student Accessibility is the disabilities service provider at New York City College of Technology. The Center provides support to enrolled students who have documented permanent or temporary disabilities. The Center's primary mission is to support the educational goals for enrolled students with disabilities through access, empowerment, resources, advocacy, collaboration and outreach throughout the College, the University and the community at large. The Center provides assistance in the areas of enrollment, academic advisement, tutoring, assistive technologies and testing accommodations.
In addition to providing services and reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities as mandated by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, the Center for Student Accessibility works closely with faculty and staff in an advisory capacity and assists in the development of reasonable accommodations that allow students with disabilities full participation in all the programs and activities offered at City Tech while meeting the academic standards maintained by the College.
The Atrium Learning Center (ALC) through its extensive computer labs, workshops and tutoring offers assistance to students across the entire college population.
HOW TO USE THE LEARNING CENTERThe process of registration is very simple. When a student enters the reception area of the learning center a staff person will ask for the student's City Tech CUNY card and for information about the kind of service the student is seeking. The student's CUNY card is scanned again when the student leaves the learning center.
Students may borrow books, audio and video tapes for use in the learning center and the borrowing student's ID card will be held in the LC library until the materials are returned.
Tutors are available to aid students who have little or no previous experience with computer use. When the demand for computers is great, there is a two- hour limit for use. To assure a place in line, students should sign the computer log as they enter the learning center.
Students may not bring food or drinks to the learning center.
No children are permitted in the learning center.
The learning center is open to give academic assistance to students. If at any time you are unable to get the help you need, please inform the person in charge.
The Student Wellness Center at City Tech is pleased to offer a variety of services and programs designed to help students maintain and/or improve their well-being, make healthy life choices for themselves and their families, and reach their academic goals. City Tech students have a chance to participate in a variety of wellness type of activities throughout the week including free Chair Massage. Check out our calendar in the Chair Massage Section.
