Academic Coaching provides one-on-one assistance to help you build the skills needed for academic success. Sometimes as a college student, you may experience challenges with not making enough time for self-care, difficulty resisting device-related distractions, feeling overscheduled and stressed about managing your time, and being inconsistent with your study habits and assignments.
Working with an Academic Coach can provide you with the guidance, feedback and support necessary to take ownership and accountability for your success. Coaches partner with you to teach you how to focus on relevant details; understand what you're reading and remember the material afterwards; learn how to sequence and map out the time needed to complete projects, tasks, and assignments; learn how to advocate for yourself to ask the right questions; identify what you don't know; and learn how to prioritize your assignments based on importance and due dates and so much more!
To schedule an appointment for academic coaching, please visit the SEEK Center for Learning in the Namm Hall, room N406. You can also text "SUPPORT" to 929-242-7244 to make an appointment.
