Advisory Commission

The CMCE department's advisory board is strong and active. It is comprised of twelve members from the civil engineering and construction industries, including both private and public organizations of various sizes. Members also serve in academia and professional organizations. The committee is led by two co-chairs voted on by the committee members. The advisory board reviews program curriculum periodically. The advisory board's responsibilities include:

Reviewing curriculum proposals
Reviewing program educational objectives
Performing fundraising for scholarships
Providing employment opportunities and connections
Providing feedback on what skills and technology graduate need to succeed in the industry.
