Media Access to Campus
The Office of Communications at City Tech approves all media requests for interviews before any interview is scheduled to take place in any of the campus buildings. The Director of Communications and Marketing must be contacted for approval. Following approval, the director will contact Public Safety to facilitate media access to the building and coordinate with the Office of Buildings and Grounds if warranted. Media will always be accompanied by the director or another member of the Communications Office.

When members of the media arrive at the City Tech campus, they must sign in at the Public Safety desk and present press credentials.
The Director of Communications and Marketing will notify the Acting Director of Public Safety via email when an event is scheduled that the media is expected to attend. Event planners must keep the Director of Communications and Marketing informed of all expected media attendance.
If media show up at City Tech without a scheduled appointment, interviews will not be authorized and the Office of Public Safety will notify the Director of Communications and Marketing immediately.
