College Now

Student Services

The College Now Program is committed to providing students with support services to prepare them for success in the program and beyond. Prior to starting each semester with College Now, all students are required to attend a mandatory student/parent orientation, and new students must attend New Student Seminars, a series of college-readiness workshops focusing on time management, classroom etiquette and college study skills. During the fall and spring semesters, our program offers free academic counseling, tutoring services, and a variety of college-readiness workshops each Saturday. We also support students with the college admissions process by assisting them with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), exploring and applying for scholarships, and navigating the college application and selection process. Our goal is to provide meaningful assistance to students in need of academic and personal support to ensure that they are successful when they get to college.
