The ADV (advisement)
Hold is used by the First Semester Advisement office to remind students to schedule a
meeting to be advised and register for classes. When students attend the Registration
meeting the ADV hold is removed, and they can freely make changes to their schedules,
keeping in mind the adviser's recommendations.
