Applied Mathematics/BS

The Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics is a practical degree for those seeking employment upon graduation or a graduate degree. Our program consists of a mathematics core, a general education core, free electives, and two semesters of internships. To be admitted our four-year Bachelor of Science degree program, you must be eligible to take Calculus I MAT 1475 (or higher).

We live in an information age, and data is a resource. Our majors develop tools to convert unprocessed data into valuable information.

Applied Mathematics - Student Success

Computer Science/AS

The Computer Science associate degree program provides students with the first two years of study leading to a baccalaureate degree in computer science, computer information science, computer systems technology, computer engineering technology or applied mathematics.

Mathematics Education/BS

The Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education is a New York State accredited teacher education program providing preparation for NYS middle school and high school teaching license in mathematics. The program provides an optional track for computer science teaching license if students complete 12 credits in computer science coursework.

Computer Science/Minor

Computer science is an exciting and rapidly changing discipline which emphasizes the theoretical foundation that supports current computer technology and guides future developments. The goal of the minor in computer science is to provide students enrolled in majors with a substantial computer component with the intellectual capabilities and computational skills that will give them a notable edge in their path to a successful career.
