Welcome to the City Tech Library! The library is both an academic department and provider of academic support to the City Tech community of students, faculty, and staff. Our expert library faculty select and purchase books and articles, both print and digital, for students’ coursework and research. We teach students, both in the classroom and at the Reference Desk, how to access and use information, and consult with faculty and staff on research, information, and scholarly communications issues. The library makes technologies available for academic work, including calculators, computers, printers, scanners, and tablet and laptop computers for students to borrow. And of course we offer physical spaces, including carrel desks for quiet, individual study, tables for spreading out, and study rooms for group work.
