If you have issues with your internship placement, contact Dr. Rosado first. If he has not solved the problem, email the Chairperson about the issue and copy Dr. Rosado. The College follows the Chain of Command, so don't skip anyone. Also, faculty/staff consider each other colleagues, and we are transparent, so emails from a student can/may be shared. To note, our secretary can be helpful in many ways, but when it comes to the internship placement, you should direct all your questions to Dr. Rosado. Generally, Dr. Rosado's email turnaround time will be 24 hrs.

Internship placement

Please check your email regularly if you submitted your pre-placement application to Dr. Rosado and are waiting for a placement. Dr. Rosado started sending referral letters to students to their CityTech email and will continue to do so. So, if you are anticipating a placement, CHECK YOUR CITYTECH EMAIL REGULARLY. It is your responsibility to check and follow instructions. Dr. Rosado will complete the referral, so if you don't receive your referral letter by a specified time please reach out to him ASAP.

Remember the followings:

• If you did not submit your pre-placement application to Dr. Rosado, you will not receive referral letters. The deadline to submit a pre-placement application was May 1^st for Fall Semester and December 1st for Spring Semester.
• Please contact the agency ASAP and schedule an interview when you receive a referral letter.
• If you run into issues during the site interview with your potential supervisor, or if the agency denies you after the interview, Do NOT WAIT for class to begin to tell Dr. Rosado. Reach out to him ASAP. If you tell him the issues later in the application process, it will be too late for him to find you another agency.
• You cannot request a change of a site for the following reasons.
  • Long commute
  • I don't like the population
  • I don't like the hours suggested by the agency or
  • I don't like the agency
