What to Prepare Before Advising

Completion of the Your Advisement Guide is REQUIRED. If you do not complete it, you will be asked to finish it and come back.

Have these 3 documents ready — either emailed before a Zoom session or in hand for in-person advising:

1. Completed Advisement Guide (use CUNYfirst Student Summary, Transcript, and DegreeWorks)
2. DegreeWorks Audit — PDF format only
3. City Tech Transcript — PDF format only

Advisors won't fill out your guide — please complete it ahead of time.

• Curriculum change process (use Registrar's form — not via department)

How to Change Your Curriculum

• Download the Change of Curriculum form from the Registrar
• Submit it via the Student Submission Link
• Do NOT email forms to faculty or department chair
