CSTEP
Eligibility Requirements
The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at New York City College of Technology is dedicated to supporting students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Residency: Must be a resident of New York State.
- Program Exclusions: Cannot be enrolled in SEEK, ASAP, or ACE programs.
- Enrollment Status: Must be a full-time student, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester.
- Demographic Criteria: Student must be one of the following:
- African-American
- Hispanic/Latino
- American Indian or Alaskan Native
- Economically disadvantaged, as defined by eligibility for TAP and/or PELL grants, or meeting the New York State Opportunity Programs Income Eligibility Criteria.
- Academic Focus: Must be pursuing a major in a STEM field or a career that leads to a licensed profession.
