Student Emergency Grant
The Petrie Student Emergency Grant Program was created to assist students coping with unexpected hardship so that they can continue their education at City Tech. The goal is to make sure that students are not forced to leave school because of emergencies beyond their control that might otherwise make it impossible for them to continue.
Students are encouraged to speak with a counselor by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org to explore any personal concerns they have to interfere with their education. Counselors will help you explore other options as well.
Students who can demonstrate need and are facing a current unexpected emergency may apply for this grant. The applicant must:
- be enrolled for the semester in which the student is applying
- have a GPA minimum of 2.00 and have
- a good record of conduct at City Tech.
Examples of Emergencies
Examples of emergencies to be considered include, but are not limited to:
