What is a Peer Support Initiative (PSI) ?
The Peer Support Initiative is a series of efforts to assist new and current students with their academic transition into college life. With the assistance of well-trained peer leaders, the goal of PSI is to encourage a community of academic integration through the strengthening of campus supports.
What are the benefits of being a PSI member?
Hello. I am Olorundamilola Okemeta, but you can always call me Lola. I'm currently pursuing a Biomedical Informatics degree with a PRE-MED track. The career goal is to be a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with an NGO initiative that supports growing STEM students. My favorite color is Teal by the way! As a Peer Navigator, I engage with the Student Life and Development office by proactively providing support through the navigating of students to the right resources here, at the New York City College of Technology. It is my pleasure working with the City Tech community!

Hi everyone! Welcome to City Tech! My name is Amy, and I am currently a student pursuing a bachelor's in Human Services. Although my major is social work, I am interested in the technology field and aspire to become a data analyst or web developer. I am actively trying to support students in their student life and any issues they might be having by providing resources from the New York City College of Technology. Feel free to reach out anytime with any questions or concerns! It is easy to get lost, which is why I'm always happy to help!
