Bridging the Gaps/ Teacher Leader Quality Partnership (TLQP) Professional Development Program
Teacher Leader Quality Partnerships (TLQP) professional development program @ City Tech offers 3 components of professional development workshops: TLQP, Teachers Are Leaders (TAL), and AP Calculus. These are paid professional development at $32/ hour. Participants are recommended by the school principal or assistant principal from our partner schools, mostly school districts located in Brooklyn. These P/Ds are facilitated by UFT staff who are experts and knowledgeable in this content area.
BTG - TLQP supports student achievement through these professional development that is provided to assist teachers in Math, ELA, Technology and other initiatives. Participants develop lesson plans, and integrate literacy and technology into this lesson plans which will be developed into web-based curriculum.
The TAL workshop will help teachers develop and enhance their leadership potential to mobilize others to make extra ordinary things happen and achieve a desired common goal in their organization.
