Outreach

Responsibility – Event promo, “hype man”

  • Social Media
  • Fliers
  • Word of Mouth
    Purpose – To reach out to the entire student body through social media, fliers and word of mouth so that they are aware of our future events, workshops etc.

In-house

Responsibility - Listening and reporting the questions and concerns of the student body. (Ears to the ground)

  • Issue surveys/polls and collecting data to be analyzed.
    Purpose – To determine the opinion of the students, what they like, need and want to be changed. Performance updates, staff evaluations etc.

Leaders

– If you hold interest in being apart of SGA in the future, you will be given the opportunity to sit in on meetings, meet committee members and shadow an officer whom holds the position you have interest in. * Future Interest

  • Peer mentor
  • Passing of the torch
    Purpose – to train the future leaders of City Tech.
    *ability to shadow an officer during office hours of any chosen position (peer mentoring)

Talent

– Students whom are proficient in writing, photography/videography, will be given the opportunity to enhance their skills by snapping photos/videos at SGA events and workshops. This allows SGA to share the outcome of their events through social media, school display screens and printed materials.

  • Photography/Videography
    Purpose – Promote SGA through social media and display screens around NYCCT as well as giving photographers/videographers the opportunity to enhance their skills.
  • Word of Mouth
    Writers – Writing or drawing material for the school newspaper and helping to create a handbook/yearbook.
