Credit Transfer Policies
The department has articulation agreements with Borough of Manhattan, Queensborough, LaGuardia and Kingsborough Community Colleges. Students from these colleges who have completed an AAS degree in a computer-related discipline (will be determined on a case by case basis) and have finished all their course requirements in that discipline will not be required to take more than 60 credits to complete the BTech program.
However, if pre-requisite courses required for the modules in the BTech degree have not been completed, the student may be required to take those pre-requisite courses. This will be determined on a case by case basis.

Credit will be granted for courses taken at other colleges if the courses are considered equivalent to those offered at CityTech.
