Center for Student Accessibility (CSA) Notice

Exam Scheduling Update — Fall 2026

Beginning in Fall 2026, the Center for Student Accessibility (CSA) will implement CUNY Accommodate for exam scheduling.

What this means for students and faculty:

  • Students will submit all exam accommodation requests through CUNY Accommodate.
  • Faculty will review and approve requests within the system.
  • CSA will coordinate and manage exam proctoring through the platform.

Additional information, including step-by-step guides and training resources, will be shared prior to the start of the semester.

Scheduling Exams

At the beginning of each semester, you must initiate your semester via CUNY Accommodate to notify your professors of your accommodations. Introduce yourself and confirm they have received your current semester accommodation letter via CUNY Accommodate.

All exams should be taken as close to the time the class meets on the day the class meets. If your exam is outside our proctoring hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm), please discuss with your professor an alternative date/time during our proctoring hours.

Steps to Schedule an Exam:

  1. Bring a completed testing arrangement form to the CSA a minimum of 3 business days prior to the exam. Completed forms can be delivered in person to the CSA or scanned to accessibility@citytech.cuny.edu and CC'd to jade.warrington85@citytech.cuny.edu.
  2. Student will take the exam at the CSA with accommodations on the date and time written on the Testing Arrangement Form.
  3. ONLY the professor can select a time for you to take this exam. Work this out with the professor BEFORE submitting the form.
  4. Your professor should email the exam to accessibility@citytech.cuny.edu and CC jade.warrington85@citytech.cuny.edu. Exams may also be hand-delivered to L-237.

If you submit your testing arrangement form less than 3 business days before your exam, the request will be considered late and must be approved by CSA staff. The CSA cannot guarantee processing of late requests.

Please email accessibility@citytech.cuny.edu to request a copy of the testing arrangement form or if you have questions regarding scheduling an exam.
