Dear City Tech Community,
It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I join you as Interim President.
Following in the footsteps of President Russell K. Hotzler, whose 21 years of service and steady leadership have shaped City Tech into the remarkable institution it is today and the epicenter of STEM education within CUNY, I am deeply honored to lead the College through this important transition. My commitment is to uphold the legacy he leaves behind while continuing to advance our shared mission of access, opportunity and academic excellence.
I am committed to a student-centered, student-focused approach and believe in the transformative power of education. City Tech's vibrant spirit, hands-on approach to learning and commitment to student success are well known and have enhanced the reputation of the institution and its graduates in the workforce in a variety of industry sectors. I am excited to be working with you to expand learning opportunities for our students and continue to promote the great work of the faculty.
We will continue to focus on our mission of providing students with a transformative experience that will lead to their career and socio-economic success. I look forward to engaging with and learning from our faculty, staff and students in the coming weeks, and to supporting the important work happening across our campus every day.
With appreciation and anticipation,Milton Santiago, Ed.D.
