Support #CityTech75 Today!
Seventy-five years after New York City College of Technology opened its doors to its first class of students on a cold February day in 1947, we reflect on the College's momentous history and take time to acknowledge the individuals who have shaped the institution we are today.
To honor our inspirational past and prepare for a resilient future that will open doors of opportunity for generations to come, we have launched our 75th Anniversary campaign.
We celebrate our 112,000+ alumni who have made crucial economic, technological, and social contributions to our society. We celebrate our faculty and staff who educated and supported students across these decades. We celebrate our college community today, an incredible 13,782 students and the faculty and staff who have led to City Tech's recognition as #14 in Top Public Schools, #15 in Top Performers on Social Mobility (US News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings, 2023).

Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund underwrite current needs that cannot be funded by state assistance, tuition or fees. They are renewable funds that enable the College to place resources where they are most needed or where opportunities are greatest. Common uses of unrestricted funds include student aid, faculty support, academic initiatives, research assistance, and the purchase of books, supplies and equipment.
Take your seat! Be a part of the future of City Tech.
Celebrate City Tech's rich history while supporting its exciting future by naming a seat in the state-of-the-art theater in City Tech's new building.
The Take Your Seat! Campaign enables donors to participate at three distinct giving levels and be recognized with a personalized inscription on a seat plaque in one of new York's newest theaters. The theater will hold a special place in many hearts, not only for the important space it offers for cultural events and educational opportunities, but also for world-class live theater, concerts, and family entertainment from across the state.
We invite you to join us and Take Your Seat! At the new City Tech Theater.
Thank you.
Commemorating a special person with a gift to the City Tech Foundation bestows a lasting tribute to your loved one's honor or memory while providing valuable support to City Tech College.
When you make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one to the foundation, we will send the honoree or the family of the memorialized person a special acknowledgment letter notifying them of your generous gift.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please enter your employer's name below.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to City Tech may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
Beginning Summer 2024 all courses will be taught on Brightspace.
