Selecting an Area of Study

The Counseling Services Center offers help to students who are uncertain about their career choice, major and/or area of study. Meeting with a staff member individually, or in workshops, students can learn the process of choosing a career that meets their interests, personal values, and abilities. Career assessment is also available. Paper and pencil career assessment instruments such as the Self Directed Search will help students identify the career that is right. SIGI, an online career assessment website, is also available for students. You can find the link below but need to contact our office for the password to enter the site. Come in to the Counseling Services Center (Namm 108) to discuss your results.
