July 1 — August 1, 2025:
The ID Station will be closed to the general public and available by appointment only for new hire faculty and staff.
To schedule an appointment, please email: IDAccess@citytech.cuny.edu

Fall 2025 students will be able to obtain IDs starting Monday, August 4, 2025.

Beginning August 4, 2025:
The ID Station will reopen and operate Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM — 6:00 PM.
It will remain closed on weekends.
This schedule will continue through Friday, September 12, 2025.

CUNY Alerts

To inform the college community of emergencies and unplanned campus closures, City Tech uses CUNY Alert, a text, email, and/or voice message notification system.

Make sure that you are subscribed to receive these important communications!

On a regular basis, students, faculty and staff should:

  1. Verify that you are enrolled in CUNY Alert
  2. Check your notification settings to ensure that you receive messages via your preferred method (example: text), at the correct phone number and/or email address

Students, Faculty, and Staff with CUNYFirst Access

  • Access CUNY Alert notification preferences by logging in to CUNYfirst, then selecting the CUNY Alert tile.
  • Be sure to specify City Tech as your CUNY institution in your CUNY A!ert profile.

Guest Users

  • Individuals who work at City Tech but do not have access to CUNYfirst can set up a guest account to receive CUNY Alert notifications. Please see the CUNY Alert Guest Account Instructions.
  • Users who have already set up an account on the Everbridge guest account portal can access and manage notification preferences here.
  • Be sure to specify City Tech as your CUNY institution in your CUNY A!ert profile.
