The mission of New York City College of Technology's Women's Center is to cultivate a community for all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, cultures and religions addressing and raising awareness of women's issues. Our objective is to educate, advocate, inspire and tend to the specific needs and concerns of NYCCT women. Through support services, the Center aspires to enable women to thrive emotionally, mentally, and physically in a safe space. It seeks to ignite success through empowerment and looks forward to celebrating gender equity and non-discrimination for all.
Through strategic design and program implementation, the Center's commitment is to promote a dynamic setting for student enrichment. In achieving its tasks, the Center affords students, faculty and staff with informative, educational workshops and programs that speak to matters of women’s affairs. Areas of focus will include: gender, race, economic status, sexual orientation, health, culture, religion, political views and other pertinent fundamentals that relate to women's autonomy and identity.
