City Tech Wellness Fair/Give a Soldier a Hug Drive

City Tech Veterans actively participate in three Veteran's Day-related events
On Nov. 7th, City Tech hosted "Tribute to Service" in collaboration with Stories of Service. On Nov 8th, Veterans Day Luncheon at Brooklyn College, and on Nov. 11th, the NYC Veterans Day Parade, going up 5th Ave on the CUNY float!

City Tech Veterans Club Trip to Washington D.C.
During Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29, 2006 seven members of the Veterans Club travelled to our nation's capitol to visit historic sites and join with thousands of other veterans from all across the country to honor those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Veterans Day Parade
On November 11, 2006 four Veteran Club students represented City Tech well as they participated in the Veterans Day Parade, joining with other CUNY students riding on the first CUNY Veterans float.

Send A Soldier A Smile
On April 14, 2007, The City Tech Veterans Club joined with the college's Dental Hygiene students in a campaign to send care packages and notes of support to our troops currently serving in Iraq.

City Tech Visits the Bronx
On May 19, 2007, City Tech joins other CUNY schools at the "Veterans/Armed Forces Appreciation Day Event" sponsored by the Bronx Borough President, Adolfo Carrion. This pre-Memorial Day event featured a resource fair, and inspirational program including reading of the names of our fallen soldiers from all boroughs of NYC.
