Visiting Students: April 28
Students can use summer sessions for a lot of reasons – to accelerate, to catch up, to restore financial aid eligibility, or to take classes in which there were no available seats during the previous academic year. City Tech is open to visiting students during the summer. City Tech summer classes are available to visiting students who complete a simple Non-Degree Student application.
In summer 2014 we will offer a wide range of classes that meet core curriculum needs, plus an array of more advanced liberal arts and career classes. Although you cannot REGISTER for summer classes until May 6 for City Tech students, and May 13 for Non-degree and visiting students, you can view the summer offerings now by clicking on the "View Class Schedule" link. This will allow you to begin to make plans for how to get the most out of your summer. Please remember that the schedule of classes is subject to change and more classes will be added as the registration period begins.
All City Tech students must register for classes through CUNYfirst. If you have questions on how to claim your CUNYfirst account, click here to view a demo video. For visiting students getting started is simple: download (right-click 'Save Target/Link As...') the interactive form, sign it and return it with your application fee to the address indicated.
City Tech offers two summer sessions. The first session begins on May 30th and is listed as either Four Wk 1 and Five Wk 1. The second session begins on July 7th and is listed as Five Wk 2 and Six Wk 2. They are essentially identical with an extended period for some courses that require more class meetings than can be accommodated in the normal schedule.
Wherever you are coming from, whether it's around the corner or from the other side of the world, we can help you plan and benefit from your Summer in the City.
