The Atrium Learning Center (ALC) through its extensive computer labs, workshops and tutoring offers assistance to students across the entire college population.

HOW TO USE THE LEARNING CENTER

The process of registration is very simple. When a student enters the reception area of the learning center a staff person will ask for the student's City Tech CUNY card and for information about the kind of service the student is seeking. The student's CUNY card is scanned again when the student leaves the learning center.

Students may borrow books, audio and video tapes for use in the learning center and the borrowing student's ID card will be held in the LC library until the materials are returned.

Tutors are available to aid students who have little or no previous experience with computer use. When the demand for computers is great, there is a two- hour limit for use. To assure a place in line, students should sign the computer log as they enter the learning center.

Students may not bring food or drinks to the learning center.

No children are permitted in the learning center.

The learning center is open to give academic assistance to students. If at any time you are unable to get the help you need, please inform the person in charge.
