Safe Zone Program and GLBT Student Services
The Safe Zone program is a voluntary opportunity for members of City Tech to become allies for Gay, Lesbians, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) students, staff, and faculty here at City Tech. Volunteer allies go through a training that introduces them to various aspects of the lives and experiences of the GLBT individual and community. The program focuses on the issues that GLBT people face and how we can be successful, safe, and supportive allies.
For more information, or to find out the next training opportunity, contact the Student Wellness Center, the Office of Student Life and Development, or the Counseling Center.
