Roxanna Meléndez was recently appointed Director of the Student Wellness Center. She comes to the center with over 25 years of higher education experience. She has a long history of promoting health, wellness and student leadership. Roxanna worked for most of her tenure as the Director of the faculty & Staff Service Center but also serviced as a counselor. She has also been the Advisor to the Student Government Association.
She chairs the college’s Women’s Center Steering committee, serves in the Behavioral Intervention Team and is part of the University’s Sexual Assault, Stalking and Domestic and Intimate Partner Violence Committee.
When not at work, Roxanna loves to paint, listen to music, read, and exercise.
Erin McKinney-Prupis recently joined the Student Wellness Center at City Tech as the new Health Educator and Immunization Administrator. She is currently enrolled in the CUNY Graduate Center's Public Health doctoral program. Her research interests include HIV and drug and alcohol prevention, as well as minority health disparities.
Erin has experience working with students and staff on college campuses. She finds working with college students inspiring and is delighted to join the City Tech campus.
Erin hopes to bring her excitement and experience with prevention education to the City Tech community. She wants to involve as many students, faculty, and staff in her wellness endeavors in order to most effectively raise awareness and help make City Tech the most healthy campus it can be. My name is Noeme M. Flores, and I am a Registered Nurse. I have been in the Nursing profession for five years. My experience includes working on medical surgical units, school nursing and immunization programs. I welcome my new career path at City Tech and hope to make many contributions in the area of Student Wellness.
