2018 Middle States Accreditation

What are the requirements for re-accreditation?

The process by which an institution earns re-accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education begins with the institution examining how it meets accreditation standards, and documenting this examination in a self-study report. Representatives of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education then review the self-study report offsite and conduct an onsite visit to determine whether the institution is complaint with the standards. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education has recently modified the content expectations of the self-study report, and changed the re-accreditation cycle from a ten year cycle to an eight year cycle. The Middle States Commission provides a complete description of recent changes to the re-accreditation cycle.
