POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES | ||
|
New York City College of Technology, a comprehensive college of approximately 13,000 students in downtown Brooklyn, offering associate and bachelor degrees, is searching for a tenure track assistant professor of Career and Technology Teacher Education. The position requires teaching, student advisement, curriculum development, and college service. There is an expectation of active research, scholarship, and professional development. The program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). | ||

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS | ||
|
Must have an earned doctorate or master’s degree in technology education, industrial arts, industrial technology or a closely related field. Research experience and interest as well as college level teaching experience are desirable. Expertise in one or more technology systems areas including, design and drafting, manufacturing, construction, communication, and transportation and information technology is required. | ||
