On-the-Spot Admissions for Summer 2024 and Fall 2024

On-the-Spot Admissions for Summer 2024 and Fall 2024: March 4, 2024 - August 16, 2024

If you already know that City Tech is the college for you, use the DIRECT ADMISSION option and apply only to City Tech instead of taking a chance on a different CUNY placement.

You can apply on your own or be assisted with your application on our campus. We are here to help you Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Wednesday until 6:30 p.m., in NG08, at 300 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Please note, if you are an international student seeking an F1 status, you must apply directly through CUNY Undergraduate Admissions the University Application Processing Center (UAPC) for the Fall 2023 semester. City Tech can only accept Direct Admission applications from students who were educated within the United States. You may need to submit additional documentation to complete your application to CUNY.

Transcripts from non-U.S. countries must be translated into English and evaluated for equivalency with U.S. education. To learn more, see CUNY's Document Translation Guidelines.

You are considered a freshman applicant if you have not previously attended any college, university, and/or proprietary school within or outside the United States since graduating from high school or secondary school.

You also may be considered a freshman applicant if you attended a College Now Program, or if you were in the Military and took courses not affiliated with a college.

All prospective freshmen wishing to apply for direct admission must meet the City Tech Freshmen Admission Requirements.

Freshmen applicants must provide the following to be considered for direct admission:

  • Official high school transcript indicating proof of graduation in sealed, school-issued envelope or high school equivalency test scores and diploma. (See How to Submit Documentation below for details.)
  • SAT or ACT scores (required for entrance to baccalaureate programs).
  • You will be asked to submit a $65.00 application fee, payable by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or check/money order to “CUNY" once access has been granted to the online Direct Admission Application.
