Welcome to the New York City College of Technology Alumni Association’s new website. The new site is designed to make it easier than ever for alumni to take full advantage of all privileges offered to City Tech’s more than 86,000 graduates. Because learning is a lifelong process, these privileges affirm the College’s conviction that its services to students do not end with Commencement. Through its Alumni Association, City Tech aims to enrich the lives of all who have earned their degrees here long after they have put away their caps and gowns.
The City Tech Alumni Association was established in 1947 to help promote the interests and well being of the College, its students and alumni. Association programs and activities serve to cultivate interest and encourage involvement in the larger life of the school on the part of graduates and other former students.
These programs provide assistance with career development, facilitate access to City Tech's Placement Office, and provide reduced- and low-cost services to all alumni through the College's Dental Hygiene and Eyeglasses Clinics. Association-sponsored activities provide alumni with a variety of valuable networking and other fun-filled opportunities that promote good fellowship. New programs in development include those that will focus on encouraging entrepreneurship and ensuring professional and career success.
A new Facebook page enables alumni to easily communicate with the College and one another. Go to Facebook and search for New York City College of Technology. The College Events calendar provides all the information you'll need to take advantage of hundreds of special events and other activities hosted annually both on and off campus. You can also gain immediate access to news and events at the College by following City Tech News on Twitter.
With additional baccalaureate degree programs in development, those in Architectural Technology, Nursing, Health Services Administration, Industrial Design Technology, Emerging Media Technologies and Radiological Science now provide alumni with new opportunities to advance their education. Hundreds of Continuing Education courses and programs provide even more learning opportunities to upgrade existing and acquire new knowledge and skills in an expanding range of subject areas. Many of these programs lead to certification and licensure.
Through the Keep in Touch form, you can easily update your records and share your thoughts on how City Tech can better serve you and other alumni. Through News and Events you can learn all about upcoming special events for alumni, and you can access City Tech’s Connections magazine.
