Terel Watson '12, President
Terel Watson graduated from NYC College of Technology in 2012 with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies after serving as president of the Student Government Association and captain of the Mock Trial Team.
Terel is currently in his final year of pursing his Juris Doctorate at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Currently he works in Juvenile Defense and Special Education Law, where he represents families seeking special education services for their children within the public and charter schools of the NYC Department of Education. Terel also works as a Non-Teaching Adjunct at City Tech coaching their Mock Trial Team. When Terel graduates from law school he hopes to continue his work in juvenile rights and special education.
David Barthold '06, Vice President
David Barthold is a 1981 Graduate of Oberlin College. In 2004 he enrolled at City Tech and graduated in 2006 with an AAS in Restorative Dentistry.
During his time as a student at City Tech, Barthold was active in volunteer work for his department, and received the Alumni Association's Scott Reisenberg award in his senior year.
Barthold went on to work for two of New York's most distinguished prosthodontists, Burney Croll and Daniel Budasoff. In 2010 he returned to City Tech to become the College Laboratory Technician for the Department of Restorative Dentistry, and in 2012 became president of the City Tech Alumni Association.
Alberto Rivera '05, Secretary
After earning an associate’s in Micro-Computer Business and Systems in 2003, Alberto Rivera graduated from City Tech’s Computer System program in 2005. Rivera went on to receive a Graduate Certificate in Labor Studies, at the Murphy Institute and is currently enrolled in John Jay’s Master in Public Administration Inspector General Program.
During his time as a student at City Tech, Rivera served as a Student Government Association Senator, College Association Board Voting Student Member, and New Tech Times Copy Editor. As a higher education professional Rivera served in a variety of capacities including University Committee on Recruitment Co-Chair, Campus Discovery Awareness Life Coach, Student Life & Development Club Advisor, Personnel Appeals Committee CLT Representative, and CLT Chapter of PSC Officer-at-Large.
He is currently a Senior College Laboratory Technician for the Ursula C. Schwerin Library and a Hobsons Enrollment Specialist for City Tech’s Office of Recruitment. A member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, the American Society for Public Administration, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and Phi Sigma Chi Multicultural Fraternity.

Gerald Singh '85, Treasurer
Gerald graduated from City Tech's accounting program in 1985, going on to earn an MBA and becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
He is currently an assistant professor with City Tech's Department of Business as well as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Business & Economics at St. John's University. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accounts and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant. At City Tech, he serves as treasurer of the Alumni Association, is a member of College Council, supervises the City Tech Tax Clinic and is an Accounting Society faculty advisor.
