Made in New York Scholarship

This program is the result of the active partnership between the College, the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater & Broadcasting and Local 817 of the Teamsters Union to support the growth of the entertainment industry in New York City. It supports full-time students in the baccalaureate program in Entertainment Technology, entering their junior year. Scholars must be US citizens or have permanent residency status, have a minimum of 54 credits completed toward the degree and maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average. Preference will be given to students with financial need who are New York City public high school graduates. Selected scholars will receive a grant of up to $2,500 per semester, dependent upon need. Scholars who complete a full-time course load toward their degree and maintain their 3.0 average are eligible for renewal for a second year. New transfers into the Entertainment Technology program who meet these criteria are eligible to be considered for awards. All continuing and admitted students majoring in Entertainment Technology who complete the City Tech scholarship application will be considered for the award. Additional information may be requested of applicants.
