NEW YORK CITY COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY PARTICIPATES IN THE FEDERAL PERKING LOAN PROGRAMA Federal Perkins Loan is a low interest loan awarded by the college to students who demonstrate financial need. Student must apply through the FAFSA application in order to be considered for the loan. Students must be registered for at least six credits per semester in order to apply and must maintain enrollment of at least six credits at the time of disbursement.
If you are eligible for the loan you will be notified by mail. In order to receive funds after being awarded, a student must complete an online Entrance Interview. The interview is designed to provide the borrower with information regarding rights and responsibilities related to the loan. You can access the on-line Entrance Interview via the following link:

Repayment of the loan begins nine months after you graduate, fall below six credits or stop attending. Students are required to complete an on-line Exit Interview. The interview is designed to provide the borrower with information regarding rights and responsibilities related to repayment of the loan.
