The Financial Aid Web Lab has reopened!
The Financial Aid Web Lab in Room NG-08A reopens on Monday, November 9, 2009. The scheduled hours are: Mon., Tues. and Thurs.:
11 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Wed.: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.; Fridays:
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. You can also call for office hours

Limited Financial Aid Services: January 19, 2010 through February 5, 2010
There will be limited financial aid window services from Tuesday, January 19, 2010 through Friday, February 5, 2010. During that period the following services will not be provided: No verification, income adjustments, dependency reclassification appeals or any other activity that is not directly related to resolving the Spring 2010 outstanding bill. We will only assist students in the resolution of their Spring 2010 outstanding bills and BM Stops and will collect financial aid documents at the window and put a protection on students' Spring 2010 classes. Regular services will resume on February 8, 2010.
The month of January is Financial Aid Awareness Month. Starting January 1, 2010, you may file the 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This application covers Summer 2010, Fall 2010, Winter 2011, and Spring 2011 semesters. Apply by April 30, 2010.

Hello, my name is Sandra Higgins, the Director of Financial Aid.
The financial aid staff and I are delighted that you have chosen City Tech to pursue your career goals. We have a diversified curriculum that provides both four and two-year degree programs. I am a CUNY graduate myself and am deeply honored to have the opportunity to provide you with the support and encouragement that will help you achieve your educational aspirations while attending City Tech.
Please visit our Web site or come to the financial aid office for all financial aid information. Remember that financial aid application filing is an annual process. File your financial aid applications early, starting in January for the upcoming academic year. Always apply early and follow up. We have staff available to help you so come by our office for assistance and guidance. We cannot achieve success without you!
This website will help you find information for obtaining financial aid from federal, state and institutional sources. This site is maintained for new and continuing students, so visit us often to keep current on financial aid announcements. We have also provided links to other websites where you might obtain information on resources to finance your education.
Applications for most programs as well as information regarding specific application procedures, eligibility requirements, methods of selecting recipients and allocating awards, and rights and responsibilities of recipients may be obtained from the Office of Financial Aid.
