Creating an FSA ID (Video) »
This 6 minute video contains helpful information for parents of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) applicants. It helps parents navigate the FAFSA process: from logging in, to filling out and to signing your child's FAFSA using their FSA ID.

Second, complete the 2016-2017 New York State Tuition Assistance Program Application (TAP) through the link from the FAFSA or at www.tapweb.org.

Third, complete the CUNY Supplement Form if you are interested in applying for Aid for Part-time Study (APTS) and Federal Perkins Loans. The CUNY Supplement Form will be available on CUNYfirst (Student Service Center) April 2016. See attached instructions.

Use the IRS Data Retrieval option when you complete your FAFSA to transfer your 2015 income tax information to your FAFSA.

ATTENTION: Students must submit all requested financial aid documents and information and have a valid Expected Family Contribution (EFC) or final Federal Pell award before their last day of attendance at City Tech to be eligible for Federal financial aid.
