The Office of Campus Planning serves New York City College of Technology in providing planning, management and maintenance of capital projects, including renovations, additions, and new construction.
The Office of Campus Planning provides the following services to the New York City College of Technology:
- Management of capital construction projects from inception through construction completion;
- Development of architectural programming and conceptual budgets for capital projects;
- Development and maintenance of the schedule of capital projects.
In addition, the Office of Campus Planning supports The City University of New York’s Sustainability Initiative by integrating a sustainable approach in the planning and execution of building projects.
Personnel from the Office of Campus Planning communicate with both internal and external constituents as New York City College of Technology’s liaisons in the design and execution of capital projects. The Office of Campus Planning maintains communication with CUNY’s Department of Design, Construction and Management and with DASNY (The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York) as well as with numerous consultants, vendors and governmental authorities and other agencies involved in the design and execution of capital projects. The Office also reviews construction documents submitted by consultants to assure compliance with University standards of functionality and quality and becomes involved with issues of architectural design, construction administration and space planning in response to the needs and requirements of the College communities, its activities and its programs.
