Our mission in the Human Resources Department is to provide superior service to all City Tech employees in the areas of human resources administration and pension, health, savings, insurance, workers' compensation and unemployment insurance management. Buildings and Grounds has overall responsibility for keeping College facilities clean and in good repair. B&G staff set up campus space for special events. B&G engineers maintain heat, cooling and ventilation systems. The craftspeople on staff (painters, carpenters, plumbers, maintenance men, laborers and electricians) both keep the physical plant running properly and perform construction. The Office of Campus Planning serves New York City College of Technology in providing planning, management and maintenance of capital projects, including renovations, additions, and new construction.

The Business Office consists of many services and offices.
Campus Services comprised of The Mail Center, Digital Imaging and Reproduction and Receiving, provides these support services to the college in a knowledgeable and efficient manner.
Business Services comprises of Accounts Payable, Property Manangement and Small Business Development Center.
The Bursar's Office of New York City College of Technology maintains the financial records related to student activity at the College, receives payments from both students and employees, and distributes paychecks and other payments due to students and employees.
The primary objective is to align budget and planning activities and processes, to effectively and efficiently maintain and develop human, physical, and financial resources for the College.
The mission of the New York City College of Technology Purchasing Department is to support academic and administrative departments in the timely and accurate procurement of goods and services to sustain, foster, and promote the academic mission of the College.
Information Technology Services at New York City College of Technology are generally provided through two areas on campus: Computing Information Services (CIS) and Instructional Technology & Media Services (ITMS). Each area maintains different and individual responsibilities, but work collaboratively to provide the campus with IT services.
Environmental Health and Safety provides services to the NYCCT community in the areas of environmental and occupational hygiene, laboratory safety, accident prevention, health and safety information, training services, as well as environmental management. This office is the liaison with government agencies involved in environmental and/or occupational health and safety. Some offices include the NYS Departments of: Labor (PESH Office); Health; Environmental Conservation; and NYC Departments of: Health; Fire; Environmental Protection. The office is also responsible for the development and effective implementation of CUNY’s Environmental Health and Safety policies.
