Professor Siegel is the ophthalmic dispensing and refraction coordinator. He is a licensed Ophthalmic Dispenser and Certified Contact Lens Fitter in New York State and is certified by the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners.
Professor Siegel is an appointee by the New York State Regents to the New York State Board for Ophthalmic Dispensing. He served as vice president of the National Federation of Opticianry Schools and was president of the New York State Colleges of Ophthalmic Dispensing. He has also served on the board of directors of the New York State Society of Opticians.
Professor Siegel received a Bachelor of Arts from Herbert H. Lehman College and a Master of Science in Education from The City College of New York. He holds a Doctoral Equivalency awarded by the City University of New York.
