Alliance for Minority Participation (AMP) program Activity Coordinator

Minerva Francis, Master of Public Health, was appointed spring 2007 as the Activity Coordinator of the New York City – Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (NYC-LSAMP) program, a National Science Foundation funded program designed to increase the representation of historically underrepresented groups who conduct research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. At City Tech, these fields include Applied Mathematics (MAT), Chemical Technology (CHEM), Civil Engineering (CMCE), Computer Engineering Technology (CET), Computer Information Systems/ Computer Science/ Computer Systems (CST), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electromechanical Engineering Technology (EMT), Liberal Arts and Sciences, Mechanical Engineering Technology (MECH), Microcomputer Business Systems (MST), and Telecommunications (TCET).
